Kanye, 36, has not yet sealed the deal with an engagement ring, but he
has splashed out £500,000 on a rare black and tiger-stripe diamond ring
The rap star gave Kim, 32, the “push present” — a growing phenomenon in
the US — to mark the occasion of the birth of daughter North.
The couple were holed up in Cedars Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills,
California, for four days this week and spent more than £100,000 on medical
bills and accommodation.
They have since left for a secret location to start their new life with
their child.
No expense was spared on Kim’s hospital stay, in which they rented
THREE deluxe suites costing more than £2,500 per night each. The three-bedroom,
two-bathroom suites came equipped with flat screen TVs, leather sofas, dining
areas, marble bathrooms and personal chefs, who were on call 24/7.
She also made the use of the suite’s beauty salon services, including
daily blow dries, manicures and pedicures. And she also enlisted the help of a
personal labour coach — known as a doula — at more than £3,000 a day.
A source said: “Kanye wasted no money in making sure Kim had the best
of everything while she’s in hospital. He has spent half a million on a ring as
a push present and had it designed months ago in preparation.
“He’s even more in love with her now than ever and they can’t wait to
get married”.
